There's a method to collection up your simple starting file:

Create a brand-new default workbook design template : open up a new workbook. Apply changes to every sheets. Surname it Book.xlt and save it as theme (.xltx or .xltm if you have macros in it).

Change additionally the default paper template. Open a new workbook, keep just one sheet, use changes, save it as Sheet.xltx.

Note that only the new workbooks will be modified.

Not certain I entirely understand what you're asking for, yet this could help:

On the web page Layout Ribbon, in the height left corner, there's the choice to change themes, colors, and fonts. Girlfriend can click Colors and also customize her own set of colors, then save that theme and apply that to any workbooks you open thereafter.
