Im very curious to find out about the average length of the standard USA league (if one exists). I often read posts refering to "fall" or "summer" leagues, and was wondering if these leagues would only last around 13 weeks if my maths is correct. In Aus, most leagues last from 22-35 plus weeks. I like the idea of short league seasons, especially when your improving slowly but steadily. Also, is the decision to have seasonal leagues a bowlers or centre one?I"d love to get any feedback on this.See ya Incidentally

I still bowl Winter and Summer leagues. I know there are some shortened seasons out there but I am personally not familiar with any. I bowl a 32 and 34 week Winter season and a 14 week Summer season. One of my summer leagues is a doubles scratch league that uses a sport condition. That league actually bowls two three game sets a night so it is more like a 28 week season.I would say that the answer to your question, at least for this area, is 32 weeks for Winter and 14 weeks for Summer are probably standard.
