Looks prefer a CVA Frontier Carbine. They had a 24" barrel with 1/48 twisted if storage serves. Made in the mid to so late 80s. Mine shooting both RBs and conicals actual good. Wish i still had it. Prices vary allot depending upon where you space at and time of year. They it seems to be ~ to it is in worth more just before state M/L season. Probably worth in the $150-200 range.

I bleeve the the kits had actually a different selection of serial numbers, recalling a article here a when back. Needless come say, I"m not specifically au fait through them in kit form.
I built a Frontier kit in the 1990"s and still hunt with it. If you perform not have actually CVA"s instruction book, walk on line to CVA.com for your "Sidelock Warrantee Book" . The will give you every you must start shooting it AND likewise their significant note no TO remove THE BREECH PLUG OR BOLSTER ( correct you have the right to do it, but it is tricky)
It looks prefer a St louis Hawken model as result of the patch box, twin set triggers and the bigger Hawken layout lock rather of the smaller sized maslin layout lock.It may be a kit from the beforehand 90"sBarrel must be about 27" long, 15/16" dia
I should have captured that. Ns didn"t notice the dual trigger i m sorry Frontier carbine did not have. There for awhile CVA was coming out with different models left and right. They would make young changes and also give that a new name. I have actually one called "Deerhunter" which is 32 cal so walk figure.
It looks favor a St luigi Hawken model because of the spot box, twin set triggers and also the larger Hawken format lock rather of the smaller maslin layout lock.It may be a kit native the early on 90"sBarrel need to be around 27" long, 15/16" dia
Yep looks specifically like mine, albeit mine is a lefty version. The is native the early on 80s IIRC, a birthday current from mine mother. From the watch of that one compared to mine, which to be a finished rifle, i am reasoning your guess around it gift a kit is correct, together the share is a much different color and also there it seems to be ~ to be no proof marks ~ above t that barrel front of the Serial Number, together there room on mine, and I seem come recall kit barrels to be not forced proofing in Spain. Someone seemed to perform a pretty decent job of finishing the though.
