Good morning. I"m stressed however ok... So I purchased the Walker direct fit cat and also attempted to rerelocate the bad cat. I rerelocated 3 bolts and also 2 nuts from the top and also the 3 bolts from the bottom... The cat did not come out, it would certainly badepend budge. I did somepoint stupid bereason I"m a novice and tried to pry it loose and hit it through a hammer a couple of times and also more than likely clogged up the phase in the ebarisalcity.orghaust. I have the right to just assume that the 2 star little bit lugs at the peak must be rerelocated too. Please help.
As far as I recognize those are the only bolts and also nuts you need to rerelocate, I"ll ebarisalcity.orgamine through other techs for advice.

My friend had actually the same problem. He shelp that you have to remove the 2 12 mm bolts holding the other catalytic converter (the pipe attached to the one you are replacing), and also you need to rerelocate the front engine mount. Once you remove the mount and also bolts you have to use a pry bar to obtain the cat out. I hope that helps

Did you acquire to see the photo I uploaded of the bolt/lug that demands to be removed? If so, are you saying that those are 12mm star heads and they go via the converter and the manifold???

I can not remember, it"s been a while considering that I did one, but my frifinish say that tbelow are 2 bolts that connects the "Front Ebarisalcity.orghaust Tube" to the oil pan. The idea is to loose the ebarisalcity.orghaust front tube in order to obtain the catalytic converter out.

Arrow points the bracket for the 2 bolts.
