hi therei have a 2000 GLE v 109K mile on it.recently the SES light to be on and i checked it v OBD2, it mirrors P1320 which is the "Distributor Signal Interrupt"is there anyone can assist me to identify what is walking on through the car?i to be a college student which way i can not afford to walk to the dealer to get it done.the automobile crank and also drive normal w/o any funny noise all time.Btw, i have the automobile smogged v ebarisalcity.orgcellent numbers too.Million thanksany concepts will be substantially appreciatedcheersPS, it also says "Ignition Signal, Primary" under this website
You probably have actually a negative coil.Your auto has 6 and also without obtaining a misfire code for a particular cylinder it have the right to be quite difficult to isolate. Many shops would reccomend replacing all 6 coils and spark plugs. I have also seen broken wires in the wiring harness cause this code however it is not as typical as coils.unfortunately both repair are quite ebarisalcity.orgpensive and also if not corrected might lead to a costly repair of replacing the catalytic convertor. thanks because that the replyactually carry out u think i have the right to do the by myself?if so, is over there anyone have any other suggestions?thanks a lot
You should have the ability to replace the coils and also plugs. It"s not too difficult. Friend will need a 10mm socket, a spark plug socket and an allen wrench. The connectors top top the coils deserve to be a small tricky. Use a little screwdriver to press the green plastic part down and then press it versus the connector that need to release it.

The light will not walk off once you fibarisalcity.org the problem. The takes several trips because that the code to clear. Girlfriend could try disconnecting the battery because that 24 hours. I would reccomend preventing by your local auto parts store. They deserve to clear the code and usually don"t charge anything.Note: The coils on the left financial institution are under a cover the is not displayed in the picture. It is an extremely easy to remove, it has actually 4 allen head screws holding it on.
